Google Tablet To Be Called Nexus 7, Many Details Leak?

Click here to find out more!
As a quick reminder, in case you forgot that Google is going to unveil it’s Nexus tablet this week, the pure-Android slate should be a seven-incher made by Asus, running the next iteration of Android: Jelly Bean. However, details seem to have hit the internet originating from an alleged internal training document.
First of all, the looks! You should expect a tablet looking like the one rendered above, wearing the name of Google Nexus 7. As far as the specifications are concerned, the said document implies that the Nexus 7 will pack a quad-core 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC, 12-core GeForce GPU plus 1GB of RAM. As far as internal storage is concerned, there are two flavors being mentioned: 8GB and 16GB. There’s also WiFi b/g/n as well as NFC.
The screen will be a seven-inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution and the main camera of the device will be on the front: a 1.2MP webcam. Battery life is advertised to last nine hours and the prices are expected to be $199 and $249 for the 8GB and 16GB versions.
As far as the operating system is concerned, the Nexus 7 will run Jelly Bean. However, the slide reportedly mentions the fact that Google will handle all updates themselves in order to overcome fragmentation. This is normal for a Nexus-branded device (but some might read more into this if they interpret it in a broad sense — though highly unlikely).
